HYBRID poppy seedpod

One of a kind blackened 999 silver 'hybrid' molded from a poppy seedpod. Supplied with a silver hoop earring and can be worn as a single earring, added to a chain as a pendant or pinned to clothes as a brooch.  The colour is a deep grey but appears blacker in certain lights. 
 
Part of the 'fossilised fragility' studio collection.  Aiming to capture seedpods mid-transition - hollowed, crumpled, imperfect. Exploring the quiet tension between fragility and endurance, growth and decay and preserving  the memory of nature as it shifts and reshapes itself.
